I’ve been building a homebrew Z80 system and wanted to start adding a video chip. I picked up a couple of V9958 chips, but due to their unusual package (64 pin SDIP!), I couldn’t easily prototype with one. As I was already putting in an order for some other boards, I quickly drew up an adapter that allows me to use the chip with normal 2.54mm pitch headers. This will mean that I can wire it in using regular Dupont wires.
If anyone would like to buy one of these boards for £5 + P&P, please feel to contact me.
Unfortunately I do not have spare sockets.
