Flowchart Editor
Flowchart Editor is a graphical control language for use on any PC compatible running Windows. As an alternative to text-based procedures, the Flowchart Editor allows flowcharts representing the program to be edited on screen.
Easy to use - 'Drag & Drop' type editor allows flowcharts to be built quickly and easily using standard symbols.
Commands Window - a window containing all the key words required to fill in the boxes
Sub-flowcharts - the flowcharts can call sub-flowcharts just like sub-procedures in a procedural language
Highlighting - while a flowchart is being run, the block currently being executed is highlighted (this feature can be turned on or off)
Step Mode - the flowchart can be stepped through one instruction at a time - this is very useful for fault finding
Operates without an Interface - line Control It PC, the program can be run without an interface; input and output windows contain LEDs which simulate inputs, outputs and motors
Labelling of inputs and outputs - inputs and outputs can be labelled and referred to in the program, e.g. Switch on Green
Variables Window - a window which displays the values of the variables used, can be opened, making it easier to trace the operation of the flowcharts and find errors
